Our Wedding

Our love story starts off as a tale as old as time … on Hinge! I suppose I knew I liked Matt on our second date, when we walked by a ship on the Embarcadero and he read the whole sign in an old timey pirate voice. Matt asked me to be his girlfriend the next day – and the rest is history.We both share a love of food and travel, and our big families have embraced us both from the start. We’ve blended our Mexican, Italian, Irish and Jewish cultures together for many memorable events in California, where I’m from, as well in Michigan/Georgia where most of Matt’s family lives. I brought my five-year-old Husky Arya to our relationship and then we got our Husky puppy Balto together.In our two and a half years together, we’ve tackled home ownership, while supporting each other as I've worked toward my license to become a therapist – and Matt was promoted to Senior Director at the Green Sports Alliance.Last October, we got engaged near our home at Imperial Beach, on a walk with our dogs. They were our witnesses when Matt dropped to one knee and proposed. We’re excited to share our special day and more importantly, the rest of our lives with our family and friends._____________________________________________Nuestra historia de amor comienza como un cuento clásico... ¡en el internet! Creo que me di cuenta de que me gustaba Mateo en nuestra segunda cita, cuando pasamos junto a un barco en el Embarcadero y leyó todo el cartel con voz de pirata. Mateo me pidió que fuera su novia al día siguiente.Los dos compartimos el placer de cocinar y viajar y nuestras grandes familias nos lo an inspirado des de el principio. Combinando nuestra cultura Mexicana, Italiana y Judia juntos tenemos el placer de recordar muchas memorias en California, de donde soy, y tambien en Georgia &amp; Michigan donde recide la familia de Matt.Yo uni a mi Husky Arya de cinco anos a nuestra relacion, y en poco tiempo conseguimos a nuestro Husky cachorro Balto juntos. En nuestros dos anos y medio juntos, los dos logramos ser duenos de casa, y a la vez nos apoyamos mientras que yo sigo trabajando para conseguir mi licensia de Terapista – Y Matt fue promocionado a Senior Director en su trabajo Green Sports Alliance.El pasado Octubre, nos comprometimos en matrimonio serca de nuestro hogar en Imperial Beach, durante una tarde casual caminando con nuestros perros quienes fueron testigos de cuando Matt se puso de rodilla y me pidio matrimonio. Estamos muy emocionados de poder compartir nuestro dia especial, y mas importante, el resto de nuestras vidas con nuestras familias y amigos.

The Dana on Mission Bay

This waterfront family-owned hotel, known for impeccable service, is the closest to our wedding venue. The Bahia offers various room options including bay front and bay view suites. Please see below directions on how to arrive to the venue: Heading north on Mission Boulevard (from the hotels) make a right on Santa Clara Pl. Then go through the first stop sign at Bayside and make a left following signs for Mission Bay Sports Center. The playground will be on your right, follow the drive around to the Tower Beach Club wedding venue. Please note that it is located adjacent to the Mission Bay Sports Center (where you can rent a surfboard) and shares a parking lot.
